Jamie Jo will make her debut as the music industry’s next “It Girl” singer/songwriter at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards this Thursday, June 18. Wearing vintage Lanvin circa 1980s and jewelry by Rosalina, Jamie Jo will grace the red carpet at 5:45 p.m.
The newest lifetime member of the elite organization, Jamie Jo is currently working with nine-time Grammy Award-winning producer Rudy Pérez, who recently selected one of her songs to be presented to Leona Lewis. In addition, Pérez, along with his team, selected five songs from Jamie Jo’s hit CD In Violet (Odin Media, September 2008) to present to artists he works closely with, including Beyonce and Madonna. In Violet features hits such as Jamie’s Jo’s debut single, "U Turn Me On," a pop confection duet with legendary vocalist Barry Gibb of Bee Gees fame.
